Starlink provides complete coverage in ANYWHERE in Fiji. If you have a clear view of the sky, Starlink is a great choice for your location.

All international seas worldwide are accessible for use with Starlink. In motion for land and in local territorial seas, coverage is subject to government approval. In the Starlink Availability Map, all areas marked in black are regarded as ocean regions; this includes islands, unless they are marked as “Available,” “Waitlist,” or “Coming Soon.” When on the ocean, including these unnamed islands, only Mobile Priority Data may be used.

Our regular plans offer support from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.

All our plans come with Standard Data for inland use. Once your priority data is used up, it automatically switches to standard. If you need more priority data, you can talk to your LightSpeed account manager or our support team to purchase additional data. For maritime data, you can also talk to our Business team.

Starlink Marine internet leverages the power of satellite technology in space, bringing maritime connectivity to business vessels across the world’s oceans.

A Flat High Performance Kit is provided to these vessels, and once installed, it connects to low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite services. The data transfer between the vessel’s antenna and satellites then keeps users online while they’re moving through the vast, open seas.

Ultimately, such a satellite system allows for real-time internet use in areas beyond the reach of reliable land-based options.

Your first invoice will be issued prior to the service being activated. Contact accounts@lightspeed.com.fj for billing concerns.

Starlink Marine internet serves as a versatile, high-speed connectivity option for a wide range of vessels out in the ocean. This includes everything from compact boats to bigger ships, covering commercial fishing, merchant, and research vessels.
As such, these vessels can make use of marine internet for a variety of purposes, such as communication, navigation, and fulfilling general connectivity requirements. It’s a testament to the versatility of satellite internet services, making them an essential asset for modern businesses operating offshore.

Those choosing between marine internet service providers should consider special features such as comprehensive ocean coverage and dependability across various marine settings.

Comprehensive ocean coverage – The capability to offer internet across oceans and regions is fundamental for business marine operations. With this, you should be opting for offshore internet solutions that provide a connection in international waters.

Dependability across various marine settings – To maintain internal systems and meet crew expectations, there needs to be consistent connectivity in various waters and environments. This means you should select a service that uses the latest high-performance hardware to keep everything continuously up and running.

However, fast speeds with minimal latency, a straightforward setup, and strong customer service should still be taken into account. These factors are generally what should be considered by all businesses, whether they’re maritime-based or not.

Fast speeds with minimal latency – On top of consistency, a speedy connection is essential for accessing weather reports, using navigation applications, and maintaining communication while at sea, all of which are activities that require constant updates. This is why your provider must be able to bring you high-speed marine internet with mostly low latency.

A straightforward setup – Look for a provider that delivers flexible service plans designed to cater to your specific operational requirements and financial considerations. Aside from the option of professional installation, this could include customisable billing, performance monitoring, and much more.

By prioritising these critical features, you can choose a marine internet service that aligns with your business’s requirements, assisting in smooth and effective operations while at sea.
